In the search for a free certificate, I found the only site - StartSSL
Actually, I'm interested in 2 questions:
1. If I purchase a free certificate from them, after the expiration date, can I again order a certificate for the same domain name from them for free?
2. Is there a limit to applications for free certificates from one account on StartSSL?

Yes, they give a free ssl certificate, it can be renewed for free too. I myself used and use for one small project. There are no tricks.
I can’t say anything about the restrictions on the number. I ordered only one certificate. But there are other restrictions, if I'm not mistaken, then only an individual can be a customer, but not a company.

Yes

No.
But there are plenty of other restrictions. For example, their free certificates cannot be used for commercial purposes.

You can renew, recently they give a certificate not for a year, but immediately for 3!
