Free editor PHP, CSS, etc. what?

Except Notepad++. Who uses what, just fed up with Notepad

Of the free code editors - VS Code.
From free IDE - PHPStorm EAP.
Both IMHO lead by a huge margin.

Sublime 3 is paid, although I do not see any restrictions in it ... except that from time to time it reminds me to buy a license. I would recommend it from the editors. And you can also look at Atom or Notepad ++
From the IDE you can take Eclipse (free) or Netbeans (also free) or PHPStorm (paid)

If the computer is weak, take sublime text3, it is light but powerful, there are a bunch of plugins for layout and backend/software development in different languages. If the computer is more powerful, take vs code.

Netbeans mentioned here is very cool. For 18 years of programming, everything I tried, I started with a regular notepad. For php, I did not find anything more convenient. From time to time I test both paid and free editors... But for now, netbeans is in the first place for me.

PHPStorm, by the way, can be purchased for free under a free license for educational institutions, you just need a student (teacher/student document).
