Actually the essence of the question is in the title and of course: what to add and change?
Peculiarities:

• Nothing superfluous, but what is there can be turned off.
• The vast majority of settings are placed in a separate settings file (variables.less).
• All sources are on .less, using its advantages, the main features of the framework are revealed.
• The grid uses the border-box rule
• Any number of columns in the grid (in the example 12) - is set through a parameter in the settings file, as well as the width of the indents between the columns.
• The grid is percentage (you can change both the formula and the units of measurement in the corresponding file (grid)), if you wish, you can add blocks and not percentage ones, but in any other units of measurement.
• In the example, 5 @ media modes are connected for which you can change the limits through the settings file.
• Column naming col-1, col-2, etc.
• For links, fonts, grids, and headings (for now), less classes and less variables make it easy to customize and modify to suit your needs.
