Forums based on wordpress?

Is there a standard solution for organizing forums?
What would you like.
Have a set of forums
site.ru/forum1
site.ru/forum2,
etc.
, which from the point of view of users would be independent or different, i.e. on each one you need to register separately, separate moderators, and from the point of view of the admin, one forum, i.e. for example, one engine, not several of the same

Hello!
I have not seen such flexible solutions to your question, but I can advise the following:
Option 1 - WPMS + BBPRESS. Technically, you install multisite, create the necessary directories -
/forum1
/forum2, etc.
In each of them (which is technically a full-fledged site), you install and configure the bbpress forum.
Option 2 - find another CMS for the forum. There are many CMS for forums... For example, NodeBB on node, PhpBB on PHP, etc. After that, just link the forum with the VP using the "bridge" plugins.
for nodebb - https://github.com/julianlam/nodebb-plugin-sso-wor...
for phpbb - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-phpbb-bridge/
https://ru.wordpress. org/plugins/bridgedd/
etc.
But I think the first option is better...
