Formatted text output in Graphics?

I have a Rectangle in which a line like this should be drawn

The output should look like this



. But the question is not about parsing strings for these same styles, but about their application. DrawString can place text in the center of a rect, but it cannot apply different styles to the same text. To paint parts of the text in parts and somehow connect it all, I have no idea how.
I would REALLY not want to use RichTextBox for these purposes.
