Flask - when is the new release?

The last version came out two years ago. Meanwhile, judging by the activity on the github, active development is underway, although it seems that without the participation of Armin. Then why is it taking so long for a new version?

There is going to be a new release soon. There just was no real need to make a release.

IMO
As far as I understand, Armin pulled the strap himself and no community formed around him - so without him, most likely, nothing will happen
