First experience on upwork?

Hello! I recently got my first upwork order for a fixed price. And now I can't figure it out! Agreed on prices and terms ... and what's next?
Should send some kind of contract? And then how to withdraw your funds?
Is it possible to add a billing method later?
I would be grateful for any advice)

To be honest, I didn't like Upwork at all. I have 50 projects on Elance for 3 years (including quite large ones), a lot of reviews and a 5* rating. Every week, 3-5 invitations to projects came, and you could just choose among them an interesting and profitable one. As soon as Elance migrated to Upwork - deathly silence ...
UPD. The first experience with Upwork was negative. A client (an old one from Elance) signed up a new account on Upwork and gave me two projects. Upwork tech support discovered that he already had an account, and blocked the new one - "for trying to scam" (although he just didn't remember about the old account). And she did it after the client paid escrow for both projects. Negotiations with technical support lasted two (!) weeks, both on his part and on mine. Any of my attempts to contact technical support ended with one standard answer: this is all done in your interests, so that you can work comfortably and safely. Like, our security service will sort everything out (only when - we don’t know).
The customer's technical support played in different departments. The security department (which blocks / unblocks accounts) works for them only on weekdays and only during business hours. The issue began to be resolved only after the client threatened to write a bunch of negative reviews on various sites about Upwork. According to him, it seems that they outsourced technical support somewhere to India or the Philippines. Nobody knows anything, and nobody cares about anything.
After that, I try to avoid Upwork - only if the client is originally from there. I work with old clients by bypassing Upwork and getting paid directly through PayPal.

The contract must be, only after that you start working.
Money under the contract, preferably 100% should be on Upwork.
I use Payoneer to withdraw money.
