Firewood does not stand up on an AMD video card, what is the reason?

All computer geniuses threw salamchik!
I tell:
but for some reason I wanted to install a fresh version of ubuntu. The installation did not take much time, I boot into the OS, start the game, everything works (games did not start in win10 due to an uninstalled driver, as well as a graphics editor). After a long time using the Linux system, I still decided to try installing win7. I reinstalled the OS, downloaded the drivers for this version of the OS, but they did not get up (I also tried to install drivers from www.hp.com on win10, through various programs, such as DPS).
What could be the problem?
P.Y. I've been suffering for three months)) while I'm sitting on ubuntu.

but they didn't get up

This is not enough to help you in any way.
But in general, it is very similar to damage to the video chip during the replacement of thermal paste. In 2D mode, it works fine, because far from the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe crystal is used, and as soon as you try to get more from it, errors occur.
To check, you can run some fairly powerful toy from the same Steam (not something simple casual) in the current version of Ubuntu (17.10) and, in theory, you will also have problems. I highly doubt it's the OS.
