Firefox: Why doesn't autocomplete form fit text?

The bottom line is this: if the text input field is less than the length of the autocomplete text, then the end of the line is not visible (in my example, in the screenshot, which email address is selected). Is there a way to make the list expandable in width like in chrome for example?
