Firefox stops responding?

There is a script that works through imacros. The essence of the script updated the page, clicked on the button and updated again. Not long ago, such nonsense began to appear, somewhere after doing the same actions 200-300 times, firefox stops responding, that is, it presses the button, but there is no compression. When I try to click myself, the same button is pressed, but the link is no longer followed. Who can explain what it is? And how can I cure it, I will be very grateful.
Yes, I did the same manipulation on other sites, at one moment the browser seems to stop accepting all the links and stupidly does not follow them, it is treated by reloading the page, which in my case is extremely unnecessary. Maybe there is a timeout in the browser or I don't know...
