Firefox\Chromium: automatic domain name substitution in request?

Our corporate squid cuts all requests to addresses like *.vkontakte.ru*, but does not cut *vk.com*.
Accordingly, vkontakte music applications are launched via vk.com, but when they try to play a song, they go to cs*.vkontakte.ru/* and cut themselves.
Is there an extension for Firefox\Chromium that could automatically redirect requests from *.vkontakte.ru* to *vk.com*?

I think that by writing a certain setting in the hosts file, this problem can be solved!

And what will prevent admins from adding vk.com to filtering? IMHO a proxy server with https is the best way out.

MusicSig vkontakte
Extension for Chrome (I don't know if it works under Linux on Chromium)
this extension has a bunch of settings for VK, one of them might help (I haven't tested it myself):
- Change links to vk.com and vkontakte.ru in depending on where you are now
