Firefox and Safari render fonts differently on some sites

This is how Wikipedia looks in Firefox, and this is how it looks in Safari. I wouldn't care, but the readability of text in Firefox is worse than in Safari.

About the software: Mac OS 10.6.5, Firefox 3.6.12, Safari 5.0.3.

Wikipedia has just set the sans-serif family for the font.
Accordingly, the font will be “substituted” with the one that is selected in your browser as the default for this family.
You can change this font by going to "Tools", then to "Settings", tab "Content".

Take a closer look at the settings in both browsers:
Like this in Safari 5 , and like this in FireFox 4

The default font for sans-serif in Firefox is Helvetica CY, and in Safari it's Helvetica.

Thanks, it really helped. My font settings now look like this, habreffect.ru/10f/873351b54 is even better than in Safari.
