Firefox 6 ubuntu: disable returning to previous page?

Today I upgraded to Firefox 6 on Ubuntu 10.04 and noticed one oddity: if you click on an empty space on the page with the wheel (how to open new tabs), the browser returns to the previous page.
How to disable this innovation?
