Find examples of programs that create a visual interface for generating custom XML?

There is a task to write a program so that ordinary mortal users can poke buttons and drag molds, and an XML file is generated as a result of their efforts. The number of possible elements in this file is not very large, the nesting level is not more than 2.
It's just that WYSIWYG XML editors, in view of their versatility, create a less intuitive interface --- I want to make it more sharpened for its task. However, I would like to see examples of such programs. Who can suggest these?
