File block filter and Word temporary files ~$?
It is known that on a windows server file, you can configure a file blocking filter by mask (for example, allow saving only *.docx files) But when setting up the filter, I ran into a problem, when opening a file for editing, Word creates a hidden file next to it that starts with ~$ characters and then the name of the open file.
And as a result, when setting the filter = allow saving only by *.docx mask, Word complains when saving that there is no access and the file cannot be saved, as if the filter does not respond to hidden files, as a result, it is impossible to work. Programs like LibreOffice and the like work just fine.
In general, the task of working with DOCX files in WORD on a file server with a filter to allow only files by *.docx mask is not solved.
an attempt to add a mask like ~*.* or ~$*.* to the allowed mask does not solve the problem. Who faced, help to solve the problem!
