Fast switching between Mac apps?

Hello!
The question arose, is it possible to assign keyboard shortcuts to switch between applications on mac?
Those, unlike cmnd + tab, you could press a key combination and the desired application was displayed to me.

Unfortunately not, as far as I know. This feature is implemented in the latest Ubuntu, I know. There you press the checkbox + the serial number of the program on the unity panel and it opens. On Mac, I use the arrow option. It's not so cool, but at least somehow speeds up the work.
