Fast start on openSUSE after Windows?
Switched from Windows XP, 7 to Linux for the first time (openSUSE), and some questions appeared:
1. What is the key combination to minimize all windows? Windows had Win + D
2. Now there is a change of language ctrl + shift, but it reacts to lowering the keys, and I need ctrl + shift to react to raising these keys.
3. Why does openSUSE hang for 5-20 minutes after being turned on?
4. Why are visual glitches visible? At the time of loading, there are some noises on the screen for a couple of seconds, but then everything is fine.
5. How can I set the sound to 5.1 speakers, and switch it to headphones?
6. How convenient is it to monitor the iron temperature?
7. Where can I find programs installed via zypper? For example, in Windows they are located in the Local Disk, Program Files folder.
8. Where can I find a working environment? There is a caveat in the YAST settings: you will find more keyboard layouts in your work environment. Where is this working environment?
PS I have basic experience with bash, but I switched to desktop Linux for the first time. I would like to transfer all key combinations from Windows :-)

Maybe after all Xubuntu (Ubuntu on XFCE), since glitches appear? It is more tailored for users, especially for beginners.
1. Try Ctrl+alt+D. In XFCE it can be remapped.
2. No such problems were noticed.
3. Reinstallation to a more popular distribution on desktops will help.
4. Similarly - reinstall and install proprietary video card drivers
5. Changes on the sound panel. By the way, after Windows the most unusual item.
6. Psensor
7. On Ubuntu in /usr/share/applications. Configs are located in ~/.config/
8. In Xubuntu, layouts are configured in the Keyboard menu item.
