Facebook listening to calls?

And earlier I noticed some correspondence with what FB gives out and my actions, for example, in Chrome (search on certain topics, reading articles, etc.), i.e. as if he understood that they were somehow watching you, although the applications were not connected in any way. Well, I understand that Google can monitor all this on the phone (I forgot to write that we are talking about an Android smartphone), but I don’t understand how FB does this. But I didn't really bother until today. In the morning - just talking with a relative on the phone, I complain to him that I can’t fall asleep at night and 10 minutes after the conversation I go to fb and in the feed I see a video (and in English) about how to fall asleep (something about the military, how they solve this problem). Well, I do not believe in such a coincidence. Do they even listen to conversations? I repeat, it would be okay if it was Google, since everything is spinning on their software, but what about fb? Or do they somehow convey this information? How can you protect yourself from this?

Facebook buys ads from Google just like everyone else... No wonder.
As for wiretapping - I don’t see anything surprising in this either, if you use their service, and read and accepted their information disclosure agreement, you should have known that there are certain rules according to which information can be used by their service for their own purposes without the right to transfer personal information to third parties.

If you still searched in search engines - there is nothing to be surprised at. They sell everything to each other.
If they said - FIG knows. With a high probability, this is just a cognitive distortion when you think about something, and then you notice it around. I had a similar case, and more than once - I thought / talked about something, the next day I saw it on a billboard. It is unlikely that they overheard me and pasted the appropriate advertisement on the billboard during the night.

If you do not have reinforced concrete evidence that they are not eavesdropping, it is better to assume that they are eavesdropping (and I will not be at all surprised if this is the case - a crow will not peck out a crow's eye)

If the FB application is installed and access to the microphone is allowed, then it is likely.
