Expo CLI or React Native CLI?

Good day everyone. I ran into such a problem, I started studying RN and started with Expo and there were no problems, various packages rolled everything was in order, but I needed to make custom fonts and by making react native eject the application stopped running through expo on the emulator. I decided to create a project through the RN CLI and what kind of hemorrhoids awaited me, he cursed at every package that was installed earlier, everything fell, a lot of errors. Tell me what they use mainly in development? I don’t feel the need to write native code and native packages yet. While a newbie to RN and going through Google subtracted conflicting statements, someone says better than Expo, someone praises RN CLI. As a result, it will put everything with half a kick and I failed to launch the project as it is written in the docks, it took quite a long time, unlike Expo, where the project unfolded in a matter of minutes. How to be what to do? And on which version of RN it is better to sit, as I understand it, it is better not to rush to update the version.

Everything has been said about the Expo, the hat is still the same!
Judging by the question, you do not understand what you write. I also do not write native libs, but this does not mean that I need to use Expo.
Do not hurry. Connect the libraries in turn and one at a time. Do not connect the next one until there are no assembly errors. Your problem is that you want to connect everything at once, it's possible, but more difficult. Generally do not rush. In the RN 60 version, connecting is either a pleasure. Don't forget to do a pod install for iOS
