Explain in simple terms what is Java EE?

I googled and realized that Java EE seems to be mainly used for websites, is this true or did I misunderstand?

Java EE is Java (as a language) and a set of various support tools (frameworks, libraries) for business needs. That is, tools for writing reliable, portable, scalable programs for working with databases, web, etc. In contrast, for example, you can put Java ME, where, say, scalability is not needed, but compactness and execution speed are needed.
To sum it up: Java EE = Java Language + Business Development Kit.
