Experienced programmers, please, can you recommend some literature for a beginner game developer?

Hello, just recently (a year ago) I discovered the wonderful world of programming! I used to think that I would (now I'm 14) work in a completely different field, but once I tried coding, I can't stop and want to make it my profession. I've been doing this for a year, started with simple web development, but now, I'm attracted to game development, as well as C
-series languages . Literally 6 months ago, I thought that all game development was Unity + C#, well, if not Unity, then some other engine. But now I understand that this area is not at all what some Gosha Dudar is talking about, who, at times, does not know what he is talking about ... Please, knowledgeable people, recommend books, starting with computer architecture
, before creating your own engine (if there are any). Books about mathematics, logic and algorithms are also welcome.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I'm afraid that at the age of 14 you are still very limited by the fact that you have little knowledge. And not because of laziness or stupidity, but simply because of age. At a minimum, you will need to know well the school course of mathematics (algebra + geometry) for grades 9-11. Offhand, this will include trigonometry, planimetry (the Pythagorean theorem, sine-cosines, etc. and their inverse functions), stereometry, vectors (grade 10, a very important topic for a couple of classes), the beginning of probability theory and mathematical statistics. You need to understand what right angles, parallel lines, volume are. What is a function, because a lot is tied to this concept (dependence between quantities on the plane and in space). Physics is a section of motion (uniform, uniformly accelerated, in a circle, a pendulum, etc.). Informatics - all the material that is needed to pass the exam is useful.
Here, on the toaster, there are uncles and aunts who have been at school for a very long time, and in such a situation it is rather difficult to remember everything that should be known)))
Anything more serious will be written here, for the most part, will relate to the university program of some technical specialty ... Well, personally, I'm not sure what you can perceive yet. In your case, it would just be better to go from a more specific one - from the engine. You want to know what an engine is, what it consists of, how these parts are connected? Start learning a specific engine, and you will be happy. At first, the emphasis was on the programming language and engine tools. And yes, you will really need English. Tutorials are not always written by people who are not always competent in development, so it’s better to watch official lessons from the developers of the engine, and they are most often in English, and if you wait for the translation, you might not wait)))

A game is not so much a code as a script... you can even master the code - but who will draw the pictures for the game?
First, find a like-minded person with whom you will do something :-), or a teacher who can tell you the direction of movement at any time.
... and the engines can be ready to take and finish for themselves ...
