Expanding horizons, or what should a developer study in java junior?

Goodnight! At the moment, I'm the most common java junior developer with six months of experience. Experience pours into me in tons, but even this fact does not satisfy my interest and desire to expand my technical horizons. At the moment I am working with java spring (and various related things like hibernate, jstl, etc.), javascript (jquery, angular js) and more. So I would like to ask what can be very useful in the future on the way to the senior level? Also interested in where to start studying such things as the architecture of networks, protocols, etc., as well as various development methods?
Thanks in advance for your replies!

1) Java
I think you can never know all the intricacies of the language and platform, but you should strive for this.
If you haven't read the basic literature, catch up. If you read it, repeat:
"Spring in Action"
I can't recommend anything other than this book - there are enough books about Spring, but it's hard to judge the quality.

  • SICP
  • Architecture of enterprise software applications
  • Perfect code
  • Clean code
  • Algorithms. Construction and analysis
  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design with Sample Applications
  • OOP Techniques Design Patterns
  • Refactoring. Improvement of existing code
  • Modern operating systems
  • Computer networks

One of the important knowledge is operating systems. Try our course on them https://ru.hexlet.io/categories/fundamental/courses

The easiest recipe -
1. Open hh.ru\glassdoor\any site with works.
2. Search - java senior\any vacancy.
3. You get an exhaustive list of what kind of outlook is required of you.
