Exchange integration with mobile devices. Faced with such a problem? Do you have any experience?

Khabrovchane, welcome!
I ask you to discuss in this issue the topic of mobile integration with Exchange servers.
Probably, this mainly concerns developers and product managers.
To begin with, I’ll tell you a little background:
We once made an application (tax manager) for iOS with the team and we had such a task - to synchronize the application’s internal calendar with the user’s calendar on the Exchange server (if the user wants, of course).
Well? We started looking for options: Microsoft didn’t have a simple API, they didn’t find ready-made solutions or libraries, it’s too difficult and long to implement the activesync protocol or EWS - not an option.
Only the tools built into iOS remain, but they are cut off by 50% in terms of functionality and work slowly =( … this is the only way the team went.
Later I heard another complaint from someone - “there is no simple integration with Exchange ='( ”
. a sad story in the world of programming.Thank
you for reading this background.Now I have questions for you to discuss: have you encountered a similar problem?Would you like to find a simple solution to these problems?
If so, please tell us which ones tasks You had to solve
Mail, calendar, tasks, contacts
I want to discuss this because not so long ago a project was launched that is aimed at easy integration with Exchange servers for mobile development.
Here we even have a page: exchange-integration.com
I kindly ask the interested Habro community to help me, to make it clear what is interesting or what is missing for users and developers. Mail? Contacts? Calendars?
Share your problematic experience and your desires - this way you will help make the world of programming a little better =) Thank you!

@gladkov

Exchange protocol is private, Microsoft sells the right to use it for money. Therefore, only large enough companies buy the rights and make software based on active-sync.
