Excel: how to find and replace a large chunk if a cell has more than 10000 characters?
Essence: excel the file contains ~5000 lines. Each cell in one column contains about 13,000 characters. It is necessary to remove a piece of text from the middle of the text of these cells.
Replacement format " <beginning_of_deleted_text>*<end_of_deleted_text> "
Problem: when searching / replacing with so many characters in a cell, excel does not see the value.
As tried to solve:
1. Save excel to csv and edit with a text editor - a fiasco.
2. Cut some of the lines into another excel file - a fiasco (even with one line, the column of which contains over 10000 characters, excel does not see the text when searching / replacing).
UPD: Search/replace is carried out by the form (ctrl+h). Manipulations with parameters "whole cell", "format"
