eventd: Could not create jail socket
Greetings!
Juniper mx5 is available
Recently, periodic suspicious loads on the processor have begun, in connection with this, I began to analyze events from log files
I noticed this
Dec 6 15:30:00 eventd: Could not create jail socket: /jail/var/run/log : No such file or directory
Dec 6 15:30:00 eventd[1039]: EVENTD_JAIL_SOCKET_FAILURE: Could not create jail socket: /jail/var/run/eventd_events
Please tell me what eventd is and how to set it up properly
Thanks!
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
first create a folder from the shell:
mkdir /jail/var/run/log (If it is a folder)
or a file:
touch /jail/var/run/log
then see what else it will give
And yes, update Junos to J-TAC Recommended, on just in case.
