Eternal offline (invisible) VKontakte not working?
Hi friends. Recently I went to Kate on my smartphone and found that the offline mode is no longer supported. As far as I remember, this was done through the API, namely, every 5 minutes the account was marked as offline using a special. API method. Is there a way to restore eternal offline?
I do not need it, I have not been a fan of this for a long time, but it will come in handy for someone.

A way was found by which you can sit on VKontakte completely offline. To do this, using the API, the methods responsible for online are hot replaced with an access_token received from another (second) account, which "takes" online on itself, and you use all the functionality as before, from your main account. As a second account, anyone is suitable, even without a number and inactive.
I have not seen such services, I think that the Kate developers are fussing about. However, at your request, I can create a simple service that will allow you to read your correspondence, send gifts, and perform some other functions.
Number of several pieces, write in the comments,it is forbidden to change the password , so that others can also use it offline.

Since last week, the Online status has become more accurate: now it turns off in five minutes after the user logs out of the account instead of the previous fifteen. Because of these changes, the so-called “invisible” mode stopped working - a bug that allowed you to sit on VKontakte, remaining, as it were, offline.
Some users were very unhappy with this. However, you need to understand that this regime in itself is contrary to the spirit of VKontakte. Social networks are designed primarily for communication, and for this you need to know when your interlocutor is online and when not. Of course, there are situations when you really need to hide your presence on the site. But more often than not, people took advantage of this opportunity simply because they could—without any objective reason.
