Ensuring anti-virus security for unprepared users

Good afternoon! Our organization is currently implementing a project on distance learning for children with disabilities. The project, in principle, is focused on Mac, but Win is used as the second system (the license is included in the delivery). The package did not include an antivirus (!!!). It is required to protect computers connected to the Internet via a dedicated line (if the conditions do not change, then with a static IP). The level of users is different, but mostly low.
There are questions:
1. What antivirus do you recommend? (options discussed
a). Panda is our computer engineer;
b). Nod32 - director of the CIT of the ministry;
in). Komodo - I am the head of the IT lab).
2. How can I further secure my computers?
3. Is it possible for the Mac bootloader to be damaged by a virus from under Win?

I think that, firstly, with a large number of computers (how many, by the way?), corporate products are more suitable for you. it’s more convenient: one license, for many computers the price is more profitable.
secondly, I will advise you, in fact, like everyone else kaspersky WSS www.kaspersky.ru/work_space_security 0) I'm used to it
:)
not infected with the virus.
2) you can turn it so that the educational institution itself will buy it, then you will get an 80% discount www.kaspersky.ru/corporate_actions?actionid=4
3) corporate antivirus for poppy will be released soon, now it is at the stage of release candidate forum.kaspersky.com /index.php?showtopic=182109

MS Security Essentials is a pretty decent option.

From personal experience - only Kaspersky ... NOD I once even bought a license, but I caught a virus out of the blue - stupidly going to the site. I don’t know what he got through - through flash or pdf ... but the computer was infected, and NOD could not do anything. It was cleared by Kaspersky, and has remained on it until now.
As for the brakes - yes, once Kaspersky was very slow, and I was just shocked that Total Commander slows down because I just stupidly go into the directories ... this made me wildly disgusted with this antivirus, so I NOD then chose. The new versions of Kaspersky, the last two or three major versions, work quite well. At least I don't see such brakes as before.
Of the preventive measures, I usually recommend to my friends I recommend installing a hardware router / firewall, at least the cheapest one, because a Windows computer in a redneck LAN or with a real IP is too vulnerable a target.

The most user-friendly, oddly enough Avast.

Panda, VBA32 is not an option. There are quite a lot of false positives, and the panda is done in the devil knows where, it doesn’t know our infection.
Look, by the way, towards ShadowUser'a. If this is for an educational institution, it may come out better than antiviruses.
