Encryption failure on android. What to do?

Recently one person broke the phone. I changed the matrix and touch. I ordered from Ali. I am writing in case it is important and has a causal relationship. It seems that everything worked, although there were jambs - double-sided tape on the wheelbarrow (goes by default) is not of such high quality and the screen did not sit well in the case. There is a gap in the top corner. I do not communicate with a person regularly and it turned out that after replacing the matrix and screen there were glitches - the phone was frozen. After removing the battery, everything went back to normal. Okay, I thought, this is due to the fact that the wheelbarrow has moved away and it would be necessary to buy adhesive tape and better plant the wheelbarrow. Or because the touchscreen is Chinese, and the phone is ancient - Explay Fresh.
Today this phone fell into my hands with an emblazoned inscription about the failure of encryption. This person is extremely ignorant in technology and "well, I pressed something .... and it's like this." Therefore, it is not possible to find out whether this person included encryption or these are glitches of a wheelbarrow that could press something on its own while living its own life. What was pressed there, what is the sequence of actions, etc. - all this is shrouded in mystery and darkness.
I removed the SD. I clicked "reset phone settings" - nothing. The phone does not reboot from the button, only removing the battery. When connected to a PC, there is no access to the internal folder. Detected as a USB drive. When you try to open - "insert disc into device". What with the phone turned on, what with it turned off.
Who faced? Yes, I was on Google, I saw about flashing, about rebooting the device, but there is feedback here, and people are more literate.
1. Will the data be deleted? (SMS, applications on internal memory, etc.) Nobody, of course, made any backups, no Google drives and Google photos ...
2. Need to reflash? How, what, what will it give, will the data be reset to zero? It's just that if this is the only option, then I'll already be collecting information, tk. never reflashed phones.
3. What programs can extract data from the phone, so that later they can be thrown again? I had a phone with a broken screen and I could freely get into the internal folder and save all the data. And here encryption does not give, apparently. There is no root on the phone.
4. How sad is it that the "reset phone" button was pressed by this person before the SD card was removed?
5... What to do? ) (except for throwing away this calculator and acquiring a new one)) Such a phone is more than enough for this person. And his age somehow justifies the misunderstanding of his actions.
