Emulator vs Real device, which is faster?

Where can I find some benchmarks to compare performance? There is no adequate device at hand to see the real time of the program. It is clear that everything depends on the machine, but I would like to look at the tests at least for some configuration :)

In general, I tested a little on my code, giving the same task as input (parsing html and xml) on Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 (rather old model, api17) vs Genymotion (Nexus 5x api24). The emulator will be faster, by about 12.5%. Genymotion ran on an AMD A10-4600m, 8gb ddr3 configuration.
