Emacs does not save files. What to do?

I wanted to write a program in C++. At first I wrote "Hello World", and it died at the moment of linking: "Main function not found". Later it turned out that Emacs did not save the file. What to do with this disgrace?

I switched to another device yesterday and reconfigured Emacs. I set it up according to the guide (as in that time). Of the plugins, only color-theme.

I decided myself. The problem was removing extra spaces, formatting the file before saving.
On the previous device, because of this, there were no problems.
