Eclipse CDT + Compiling 64 bit
There was a need to build a C++ project for a 64-bit version of Windows, while there is a restriction on using only free tools. For this reason, to implement the plan, the EclipseCDT+MinGW bundle was chosen. But as it turned out, Eclipse was originally designed for the 32-bit official version of MinGW, and for the successful assembly of 64-bit applications, you need to work with a file. So far I have not been able to find adequate and detailed guides on this topic, therefore I will be glad for any hint or useful link on how to make Eclipse friends with the 64x port of MinGW.
And is it still possible to bind the compiler and linker from MS to Eclipse, as far as I know, they can also be obtained by downloading the WindowsSDK set for free?
Thank you.
