Dual-band adapter operation - is it possible?

I purchased an ASUS PCE-AC88 WiFi adapter to work as an access point (hostapd).
Is it possible to configure hostapd to work with this adapter as TWO access points - 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz?

ifconfig (or ip link) shows how many wireless interfaces? If there is more than one (taking into account that there are no other wireless adapters besides this in the system), then you can
simply configure your soft AP for each interface
