Drupal: Translation for selects with many values?

Good afternoon dear associates. I must say right away that I am new to learning Drupal, I am getting acquainted with the 8th version. During the meeting, a question arose.
Given:
Local site on Drupal 8. Multilingual (Russian and English).
A custom Content type is created with a bunch of forms/fields.
One of the fields is supposed to be made in the form of a select with a large number of elements, namely, a list of countries (200+ pcs.)
Task:
There are no problems when adding selection items when creating a select. The Big Window simply enters data like:
1|Afghanistan
2|Bolivia
...
But when you try to add a translation to all this data, problems arise. There is no such window for making transfers. The system offers to make a translation for each item in a separate input (i.e. you have to do 200+ times ctrl+c ctrl+v instead of the desired one).
Question:
Is it possible to somehow make this business more convenient? By one insertion, of course, taking into account the full compliance of the key? Or maybe there is another, alternative way?
PS Are there, by the way, other ways to display such a lot of lowercase information? Those. not through select?
