Drupal or PHP framework for a simple website?
It is necessary to make a business card-blog website for an opening company, with user registration. I have experience with Drupal 7, but many swear at its slowness and load, recommend looking towards frameworks, Yii2 or Symfony2. What would you recommend for this particular project?

If you have experience with Drupal 7, then do it. The specified functionality comes out of the box. Slowness is all a relative concept, Drupal has a built-in caching system, there are a bunch of modules for this. And even on a regular hosting, you will not have any problems with slowness.
It's nonsense to make a business card-blog on Drupal. Yes, and Yii is also a perversion. It seems to me that we need to follow the path of least resistance: We install WordPress, buy a template for it on temporest, edit a little if necessary and everything is ready, you can use it. With proper content, even a template site will be very good. And then when the company ceases to be "opening", it will already be clear what you need and in what form.
You should start worrying about Drupal's "slowness and load" with hits like over 10000/day.
Business card on Yii is certainly cool. We are not looking for easy ways, respect :)
They always look first of all, not at what is easier, but at how the end user or administrator will work with it. How will the administrator use Drupal in the future if he has no experience? Making an elementary business card site using Yii will take less problems than setting up Drupal. Therefore, I am for Yii.
If you need everything quickly and easily, then it is better to choose WordPress. For a business card blog, this is generally the best option, the engine was actually made for this.
Well, if further modernization is planned, and the addition of some specific functionality, then I would choose Yii2. (Wasting time learning Symfony2 in order to make a business card on it later - well, this is generally nonsense). And
in general: if the site after its creation will be run by a more or less knowledgeable person, and not some kind of larva from the secretariat, then it is better to choose Yii2
In this case, I choose symfony 2. Yes, it may take more time, but this time is devoted to creativity and new discoveries. (well, the point of view of pragmatism - experience)
Frames definitely. Drupal will be very heavy for such a site. For simple things, you need to install heavy modules, and you will use only a small fraction of their functions.
so it's better to use something light.
The fastest option is any popular cms. If there is a lot of time, then the above-named frameworks.
