Drupal 7. Why are image previews not created after moving to another hosting?

Drupal

The site on drupal 7 was transferred to another hosting, more precisely to vps. Powered by nginx.
The images for the nodes themselves are loaded, but the preview in the /sites/default/files/styles/thumbnews_img_250x160_/ folder is not created.
What could be the problem? Changed the rights to the folder
The site was not created by me.

Installing the Imageinfo Cache extension helped.

See if GD is installed either fi2.php.net/manual/en/book.image.php
Or ImageMagick
