Draining the rating of the Android application. What to do? How to protect yourself?

Perhaps my Android application Calculator++ has been subjected to a rating drain. My guess is based on the following stats from the developer console:

The top graph shows the overall rating of the app over time, the bottom graph shows the rating by country.
Notice the break point on the top graph (the point where continuity is lost). The lower chart shows that the rating given by the Indians at the same time also began to change (moreover, also not continuously, unlike other countries).
Is it a drain? How to protect yourself from it? What to do? Has anyone else seen a similar picture?

It's not a plum. At that moment, a new version of the Google Play app was released. The new interface encourages ratings more actively. As a result, the number of ratings increased significantly (about 3-4 times), but the average rating decreased. I have a similar picture for all applications. Below is a screenshot for one of them. The inflection occurred on December 13 (FRIDAY!). By the way, just yesterday or the day before yesterday, the Google Play interface has changed again.af7f5e25281c418f87e4bd28a291a463.png

Compare with changelog. Did you add or change something? People in the reviews complained about ads, it is likely that some people are annoyed by the presence of ads and they lowered the rating, but this is only if the ad was added very recently before the leak.
In general, there is universal advice, if you want to solve a problem, you need to understand the reason for its occurrence.
