Doesn't see keyboard -rw init=/bin/bash?

Good day. Faced a serious problem, "loss of access to the server".

Equipment: "Hp DL380 G8"

Error: To recover the password, I use the additional editing function of the start "e".
I enter additional ... Linux /boot/vmlinux-.. rw init=/bin/bash

The input stops working (does not see the keyboard), while it works in the shell. What could be the problem ?
