Doesn't change translation when changing .po and .mo translation files?

In the topic, you need to change some translation lines, since the translators are "well done", the topic is multilingual. I found the corresponding .po and .mo files responsible for the desired language, found problem areas in them, changed them, but nothing changed on the site (I cleared the cache). I thought that maybe I changed it in the wrong place, unloaded the entire installation on the PC, checked it by searching through notepad ++ for the phrase in all files, the translation is only in these files, that is, the file was not mistaken. But the translation is still default. How is this possible and why does changing the translation not work?

1. Theme from the WordPress directory ? What is the name of?
2. What phrase are you trying to change? Where? In what file? Is there caching on the site? Did you clean?
Somehow I wrote a guide How to correct the translation of WordPress, themes or pla... , maybe it will help.
