Does xsd schema offer many advantages over xpath XML parsing?
We have about 50 document subtypes. Theoretically, as I understand it, using XSD we can generate classes and try to upload data from classes to the database. But in practice, it seems that the same thing can be done using XPATH.
It's just that I've always thought that XSDs are mainly for validation. Also I do not see obvious advantages in comparison with parsing through xpath. Correct me if not right.
