Does turbo boost work in virtual machines?
There is a server with 2 Intel Xeon 5660. Proxmox is installed on it. With the help of cpufrequtils, I configured the frequency change depending on the load (ondemand mode). Everything seems to work on the virtualization host, i7-z shows everything. But inside the virtual machine, the increase in the processor clock frequency cannot be achieved. In Windows, programs either do not show the current frequency, or show the standard one. It's the same on linux.
Has anyone managed to see turbo boost in a virtual machine? How?
