Does the server continue to execute the task after the tab is closed?

Hello.
There is a site on which to enable the parser, you must go to a specific page of the site. You pass, about 5 minutes the page is loaded (the parser works), then infa comes out. So it became interesting to me, if you open this page and close it after 20 seconds, will the parser on the server still work from and to? Or can closing the tab somehow affect this and the process will stop?

If the process is started as cron/cli, then yes, when the tab is closed, it will be executed. Otherwise - no.
