Does the number of contributions matter when applying for a job?
I often hear that you don’t even have to start github before getting a job - no one looks at it anyway. On the other hand, some say that the "green lane" is a good help for the candidate. Is it worth it to take a steam bath, or is a couple of contributions per year enough (without taking into account their weightiness)?
