Does the current version of MongoDB have issues with Cyrillic?

I'm going to use MongoDB for a project that will involve more than just English. Actually, the question is: are there any problems with Cyrillic in MongoDB?
For example, PostgreSQL does not understand capitalization well when using the `ILIKE` operator. Does MongoDB have similar or other problems? Can I use Cyrillic in keys? Is everything ok with full text search/indexing/something else?
