Does the computer hang when windows is loaded (marching strip)? what is the reason?
A weak, old computer (it's clear that it's better to dispose of it already) BUT :) often when loading windows xp, with a strip that runs, it freezes and that's it? What could be the reason????

If reinstalling Windows does not help, then see hardware.
For a simple check, take any live Linux distribution and try to boot from it, the memtest utility will also be there (the Test memory boot menu item (or something like that))
Then you can already assume something.
Well, pull out all unnecessary additional devices (USB, second HDD / CD / DVD, sound card, if separate, video card, if there is a built-in one, etc.). Clean PC, change thermal paste, check electrolytic capacitors for swelling.
To answer this question, you need a download log.
Press F8 on boot, there should be an entry for the boot log.
Although if the computer is old, then there may be hardware problems that the log will not show.

Open, clean, inspect the capacitors. Surely there are swollen ones. Then either solder (and everything), or scrap.
