Does the battery of a smartphone deteriorate when used as a modem on a PC?
Hello. Regularly (a couple of hours a day or more) I use the Meizu M5 Note smartphone as a modem for a PC via a usb cable.
Is this use of a smartphone harmful to the battery?
The rest of the time, the smartphone charges normally, once a day, at night, and lasts all day. While using as a modem, the battery is cold (25 degrees according to AIDA64)

The rate of battery depletion depends on how often the phone went from 100% to zero. Simply put, each battery has its own resource, which is calculated in charge-recharge cycles. The more of these cycles you have made, the less life is left for the battery. Long sessions of stress on the battery accelerate its discharge.
