Does sphinx send e-mail to [email protected] address after indexing, how to disable? Or what sends mail on the linux server?

The hosting is running out of e-mail sending. While sending mail is minimal. The hosting says that it sends something to the vpski letters to the [email protected] address, probably some kind of demon, sort it out yourself they say. Can sphinx do this? If yes, how to disable?
If not, how to identify the problem?
