Does QSvgRenderer require the imageformats/qsvg plugin?

It took one time to load the SVG. The trainee wrote, reports: we need two libraries Qt5Svg and imageformats / qsvg.
Without the first program will not start. The second is a plugin. And even shows a screenshot of what will happen if there is no plugin.

Okay, I wrote it myself in five minutes, using the same method as he did (QSvgRenderer). And the program does not crash!
And here comes the subject: is imageformats/qsvg really needed? On the one hand, the intern mentions that he is needed. On the other hand, I can’t repeat the failure if it doesn’t exist, even on another computer.

The plugin is needed. Perhaps you are running the program from ide, or you have a folder with Qt in Path stuck.
