Does pythonanywhere give an error when trying to install nginx on hosting?
When trying to install nginx, it gives an error. I understand that I need to get a user, but to create a user I need a root user, but I don’t know how to get it:
16:33 ~ $ sudo apt-get install nginx
sudo: unknown user: root
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin

this is essentially a shared hosting nginx you already have installed and you can’t install anything yourself,
take vds if you want everything yourself
Hm. And where did you get the idea that you can put something there? This is a cloud platform for running python scripts, everything you need - if you need to run python scripts - should already be there. And only its (pythonanywhere) admins can put something there.
