Does Python allow you to use the full power of modern nVidia video cards for calculations?

I'm going to buy a new Nvidia 1050 or 1070 video card. I often do test calculations using libraries of genetic algorithms and neural networks with various searches, testing different ideas.
Will these graphics cards allow me to get a real speed boost in Python calculations?
You can use cloud servers, but they cost money, and everything on my computer can be considered free for at least a day.
