Does it work in OS under ESXI - VLAN "out of the box"?

Tell me, if you install ESXI and raise any OS (for example, Linux) on them, will packets of different VLANs immediately come to these OSes, or will Vswitch need to include support for transferring vlans to the OS?

The matter is that ESXI is not near at hand, and this question excites.

In general, the network is configured on switches, so on vswitch you need to configure which vlans are allowed into which network ...

And there you can add a switch with vlans and a tagged network card.
